Jan 18, 2005· Has anyone seen or built a flat belt PTO for a 318 or 400 series? I''m looking for ideas to build a flat belt PTO to operate several antique pieces of farm equipment, like a silage cutter, burr mill, etc. I did see a custom built rear PTO with a flat belt drive on a modern JD powering a threshing machine in Sussex last summer. Ideas would be appreciated.
